Our Success Stories
Sommeliers Informales:
In September 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, Nico and Gustav, two friends from Buenos Aires, Argentina, founded Sommeliers Informales.
Sommeliers Informales proposal is based on transforming and revolutionizing the world of wine. The group believes that wine should be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of their background or knowledge. They are committed to making wine more accessible and understandable, and to breaking down the barriers that have traditionally made wine seem elitist.
They do this by hosting wine tastings, events, and workshops. They also produce content about wine, such as articles, blog posts, and videos.
In November 2021, Sommeliers Informales and Wine Club Imports partnered to launch "Chateau Informal", a 2019 Cabernet Franc Reserve. This CF is a true expression of our vineyards in Maipú, Mendoza. See our full wine portfolio here.
The wine's profound red color is a prelude to its complex character. On the nose, it captivates with a bouquet of peppers and spices, layered with subtle undertones of vanilla and tobacco—hints that reflect its careful aging in French and American oak barrels.
This limited-edition bottling of 1,000 bottles embodies the identity, vision, and passion of the Sommeliers Informales team for wine. The wine sold out in its first year.
